Scott is actively involved in the agriculture and futures industry. He is the Past President of the National Introducing Brokers Association (NIBA), a member of the National Futures Association (NFA), chairman of the NFA IB Advisory Committee, a member of the NFA Hearing Committee, and he has served as a member of both the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade Ag Advisory Committees. He has testified on agricultural and futures issues before the Senate Agriculture Committee and, on numerous occasions, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Scott grew up in agriculture. He began his career as a market analyst for Top Farmers of America, an agricultural publishing and market advisory firm, where his advisory track record earned him national recognition.
